My tot wanted to make a special homemade present for her daddy for Father's Day this year, and I thought that this Tissue Paper "Catch-All" Mug would make a great personalized gift. My husband has an office space at work, so this is a perfect little organizer for him to store his writing utensils and other office supplies. It took about 20 minutes for my tot to finish the craft, and clean up was relatively simple (just a quick rinse of the brushes and wipe down of the table). My daughter really enjoyed decorating the mug, and I hope your children have loads of fun with it, too!
- Mod Podge
- Tissue paper (cut into desired shapes about 1"-2" in size)
- Foam brush
- Paint brush (optional)
- Glass mug
My tot was "over-the-moon" excited to give her daddy his Father's Day gift! And since she was most likely going to spoil the surprise anyway (because that's what three-year-olds do), we put a few items inside the mug and placed it on our desk at home for my husband to see when he came home from work.
