This past week was extra busy for me. I rushed around like a mad woman, trying to accomplish a million things at once, only to start the insanity all over the next day. (Sound familiar, moms?) The silly thing is that I do it to myself! I don’t HAVE to squeeze grocery shopping, working out, and laundry into one morning. I choose to because I want to shorten my “to-do” list.
The truth is, no matter how many items I check off my list, there's always more tasks that come along to take their place. It's a never-ending cycle of chores! Why do I continue to drive myself crazy, when I know the "to-do" list is endless? I don't know, but at least I feel like I'm accomplishing something. I feel like a good mom and wife. I feel like the things that I'm doing will benefit my family. And that's what matters most to me.
Here are my Weekly Words of Inspiration- Stop. Breathe. It'll get done. I'm going to attempt to go a bit easier on myself this coming week. I urge all of you busy moms to do the same!
